Parking is very near by - sometimes used by 'park and riders' who are going out to the bush to work.
Area is an OK place for little kids and dogs to run.
We have children and grand children. We also have dogs in our family. One family dog is Millie - almost 4 years old and mostly black lab cross. We felt it was time Millie had a cache with her name on it.
Nothing fancy, but a place where kids can run around, dogs can, too, and there are more caches in the area. You can go to your left, or walk straight ahead, or if you do not have small children with you and want a workout - cross Franklin River Road to the other parking area and find some caches over there on another trail with a little built in huff and puff.
This cache is not far, typical place to hide. Natural covering is fragile, so the big folks should retrieve it, but the kids will enjoy what is inside.
I am not sure we left a writing thing, so you should have one with you. Like the rules say - no signature, no smiley for you.
