Due to a severe lack of geocaches in my own home country I have decided to take it upon myself to start placing some. The third in the series is located at St Patrick's Anglican church. This church was founded in 1843, during the era of British colonial rule. As a matter of fact, this church is built from bricks taken from Europe, which were used as ballast, in the ship. Which were offloaded in exchange for tropical agricultural products most notably sugar cane, cocoa and coffee. These bricks were carried by slaves from Mt Irvine bay, all the way to the church. In fact at the front of the church there are the graves of two of the slaves who carried the bricks.
By placing this cache on new years day I would like to wish everyone a prosperous and happy 2014.
Happy hunting !
