Small cache hidden in a rocky tiny, little-known public park. Our first cache.
This hide is named for the location (Jennifer Park) and the date on which it was placed (New Year's day). Jennifer Park is public land surrounded by houses and back yards. Park access is via Revelstoke Place; at the end of the street you will find a signed gravel path between two houses. Walk up the gravel path to enter the park. The cache is NOT in the grounds of the large white house to the right of the gravel path, despite appearances on Google Earth, Maps, or Streetview. Please don't block resident's driveways. The cache is a waterproof match box covered with camo tape. The initial treasure we placed inside is a small glass amulet. The container is quite small, so if you want to leave anything, it needs to be correspondingly tiny. Be careful when retrieving the log not to lose the rubber o-ring that waterproofs the lid. Please stay off the adjacent properties. Feel free to pack out any trash you find, or remove broom plants. The container is hidden in the rocky part of the park, not in the blackberries and broom. That's not much of a clue, since the park is basically one big rock. Be careful when clambering over the rocks and moss, they can be slippery.
