The background story to what you will see here is really quite sad. Many years ago, the creator of these sculptures (Kev) came home to find his many animal friends and pets had all been brutally killed, whether by some malicious act or zoosadism, he will never know. Naturally, this devastated him to the point where his life went completely off the rails for some time. During this time, he received a postcard with a Pro Hart painting of Ned Kelly on the front. In one of his drunken stupors, he looked at an old airconditioner which was lying discarded in his yard, and decided it could be made into a model of Ned Kelly. Once it was created, he placed it in the corner of his block with the idea that Ned would protect his property. From there, he began to see the potential in other junk items he had lying around, and bit by bit this exhibition was created. During this process, Kev's inner healing began, and his life turned for the better. He now takes pleasure in sharing his work with all. The cache is placed with Kev's permission.
