Geocache Description:

This is an off-set cache. From the center of the stone circle - we experienced a small echo - the container is about 35 feet (11 meters) downhill Southwest (225°).

Garret Mountain Reservation covers the northernmost part of the First Watchung Mountain and reaches over 500 feet (152 m) above sea level. The Passaic County Parks Department operates the park while the Passaic County Sheriff is responsible for law enforcement in the reservation. It is accessible from both Interstate 80 and Garden State Parkway (via Route 19) as well as the local roads. There is parking available next to the radio tower and a picnic area (parties of 10 or more are req'd to register in advance).

Please replace cache and surrounding area as good or better than found as this scenic vicinity will attract numerous visitors.
