Geocache Description:

You can park just off Norris Peak Rd at the trail entrance. Please make sure you pull well off the main road. This is a fairly short but mostly uphill hike. You will see stone stacks and castle walls as you go up into the forest. The best access to the top of the rock outcropping is from the backside, take time to scout your route up. From GZ you can see the colorful bluffs of the Historic Madison ranch and the tower at Ellsworth AFB in the distance.

Meg and I were tromping through the woods on a cold New Year's Day and headed up here to check out the limestone. When you get to GZ you will see why we named the cache Hobbit Hole. On a clear day one can see the colorful bluffs that line Nemo Road and all the way out to Ellsworth AFB. You are looking for a small camo'd locknlock with a log sheet and some small trinkets. This cache is placed to get you off the beaten path! Please rehide as you found it.
