Milano: Gemini Center Traditional Geocache

GEMINI CENTER

Il Gemini Center si trova a Milano, più specificatamente a Lorenteggio, nella periferia a sud-ovest di Milano.
L'edificio è formato da due torri alte 96 metri per 21 piani. Le due torri, la cui costruzione è iniziata nel 1989 ed è stata terminata nel 1995, sono state progettate dagli architetti Rolando Gantes e Roberto Morisi.
Particolarità dei due grattacieli è la presenza di due gru posizionate (per la pulizia dei vetri) sulla cima delle due torri e a livello strutturale è che per i primi 15 piani le due torri sono collegate tra loro con delle passerelle in vetro.

GEMINI CENTER

The Gemini Center is a complex comprising two skyscrapers located in Milan, Italy, at the most peripheral end of Via Lorenteggio, in the Giambellino-Lorenteggio district, adjacent to Milan's border with Corsico. The two towers are 96 m, 21 stores high; they were designed by architects R. Gantes and R. Morisi.
A distinctive trait of the Gemini Center towers are two cranes located on the buildings' top, which are used for cleaning the glass panes that cover most of the towers' external surface. The towers are connected to each other by glass bridges (up to the 15th store).
