Geocache Description:

An easy stroll into the woods for a simple cache.

This cache can be found in conjunction with the lovely old "Blooming Rabbits" cache, GCN8WN, (in honour of which it was named) and the parking recommended for this one is the starting point for Blooming Rabbits too. The original Blooming Rabbits was archived recently but has been resurrected as Blooming Rabbits II (GC533JG) staying true to Bob Smith's original. Continuing the Blooming theme, Blooming High is not far away if you fancy a tree climb.

Tree cover can make the GPS signal rather flaky at GZ, I have averaged the co-ordinates over several visits on different days so, hopefully, they should not be far out (and the cache is hidden in a place no self-respecting cacher would ignore anyway). It is not necessary to leave the path and go bushwacking for this one, but I still would not recommend looking for it in your best Sunday frock . In winter, wellies are probably a good idea, especially if you are intending to go on into the woods to look for the other caches here.

There is lots of wildlife in these woods and they are also used to rear birds for shooting, so please respect the countryside code, stick to the footpaths and keep dogs under control.
