It's Specialized! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: I regret to inform you that the Center for Natural Lands Management, the land owner of the Rancho La Costa Habitat Conservation Area, has asked us to archive all of the caches in this area. We have requested more dialog on this topic in the hopes that we might establish reasonable guidelines for the future of caching here, but for now we much archive all the caches. Please revisit your cache and remove your cache container and any traces of the cache.

Thank you for your understanding.

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed IHO my current mountain biking steed, the Specialized Stumpjumper.  It is also the brother cache to It's A Lefty Thing down the hill, but a very similar camo/hide to this cache.  Please park/CITO appropriately so as not to disturb the residents on the streets below the cache if accessing from the west side.

We have used these trails for many years of great fat tire fun, and what better way to combine exercise and geocaching together! This cache is placed at the intersection of the Switchback (mountain biking) and Mule Deer (hikers only) trails inside the La Costa Preserve, so all can have equal opportunity of grabbing this cache! Please place as you found, as the hint describes the location more accurately. Not a difficult cache to find if you use your geosense...just takes a little sweaty equity to get there. CONGRATS TO CARLTHEPICKLE FOR FTF!!!!
