Church Micro 4893...Bettisfield - Methodist Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Heidi Seekers: Been back a couple of times to find a new location for this, but really can't find anywhere suitable. Think there has been quite a lot of construction work in the area since this was first place.
Reluctantly need to archive.

Geocache Description:

The cache is placed along a lovely quiet country lane, but please take care when retrieving and replacing the cache as there are houses very close.

Bettisfield Methodist Chapel in Cadney Lane was built in 1879,  The building is of solid brick construction with a patterned face of white and red brick in a Flemish Bond pattern under a Welsh slate roof.  Over the last 20 years the building has undergone major restoration  to combat subsidence and damp.  In 1998 an extension was aged to provide kitchen, toilet and small ante-room.

Bettisfield Chapel is the only Welsh Chapel in the Wem and Prees Green Circuit and members extend a warm welcome to villagers and visitors to their services.

“If anybody would like to expand to this series please contact Sadexploration at churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list”
