CFS #06 Bunyan's Tipple Traditional Cache
thecheshers: First we thought it was a challenge, then we thought we just needed to improve the clues, then the DNFs stacked up & on one visit we struggled to get to it ourselves. One day we'll do a little trail around the bunyan's trail. Until then, you'll just have to walk it without caching. Thanks to everyone who posted and tried this one- apologies for the inappropriately difficult challenge. Lesson learnt!

The Cheshers' Family Series (CFS) is a collection of caches which are dotted around the country, just like our family. CFS #2-#7 form a circuit around the village of Barton-le-Clay, where Mr Chesher's parents live. We suggest starting the circuit at CF2 #02 It Must Be a Sign (visit this cache’s page for parking suggestions), however if doing this cache in isolation you can park on Manor Road.
This cache leads to the John Bunyan walking trail which leads towards Hexton, giving lovely views over towards the Pegsdon Hills. This is an excellent walking trail in itself, although wellies are strongly recommended if it has rained recently, as it can become particularly boggy underfoot.
The cache itself has a high difficulty rating because of the camouflaged container itself, which was specially designed in the North-East. Please close the container carefully having signed the log, otherwise nearby moisture could damage the log. Similarly, the container should be re-hidden out of sight to prevent it being muggled. Tweezers will be required to remove and sign the log.
Due to the nature of the container, the cache itself should stay under 'leafage', otherwise well-meaning muggles may tidy it away.
Please don't be put off by the recent DNFs; I've upped the difficulty rating, but as earlier logs will confirm, it is possible to find; you may just have to be thorough! Maybe some gloves would be a good idea if you don't like the idea of getting your hands muddy!
