Bröt Anunds Grav?
Bröt Anund var en svensk sagokung av Ynglingaätten. Namnet fick han för att han röjde bygd och anlade vägar (bröte=väg) i Svitjod (Svea rike). I folkmun anses detta vara hans grav. Detta är en av flera platser i landet som anses vara hans grav.
Graven är en långdös som består av 20 stenar och är 21x 8 meter. I området finns det ytterligare 2 skeppsättningar + 79 resta stenar. Dessa gravar är mestadels från yngre stenåldern (ca 2000f.Kr). Om nu Bröt Anund har existerat verkade han troligtvis på 600- talet e.Kr. Skulle detta nu vara hans grav torde han vara död och begraven innan han föddes!?!?
Stenarna har delvis blivit raserade under årens lopp. Men 1928 reste och restaurerade man fältet igen.
Enligt legenden ska man kunna se Åhus om man ställer sig på mittstenen. Men gör INTE detta då det är ett fornminne!!
Anledningen till att det står skeppsättningar här är att Hanöbukten sträckte sig ända in här.

The tomb of Bröt Anund?
Bröt Anund was a Swedish legendary king. He got his name because he cleared the land and builded roads (bröt=road) in Svitjod (Sweden). This is one of many places where he is supposed to be buried,
This is a ships barrow that is 21x8 meter and consists of 20 stones. In this area there is two additional ship burrows + 79 standing stones. These tombs are from the Neolithic period (around 2000 BC). If Bröt Anund now really existed he would have lived around the 700 century. So if this really should be his tomb he would have been dead and buried before he was born!?!?
The stones have benn partly razed during the years. But in 1928 the fields were restored.
Due to the legend it´s possible to see Åhus if you stand on the middle stone. Please DON´T do this!! This is an ancient place with certain rules.
The reason that there are ship burrows here is that in ancient times the Baltic streched all the way up here.
