The McRaes Weir Circuit Track is a 2 – 2 ½ hour return track, the track is classified as hard but that seems a bit extreme, medium would be more appropriate. Follow the red weir symbol on the track signs. Follow the road to the swing bridge and then continue up the Racemans Track to the McRaes Weir Track. Then travel beside the water-race and pipeline to the McRaes Stream and weir. Cross over this stream, pass an old hut, a tunnel and continue beside the water-race to a sign that takes you back to the swing bridge.

The cache is a camo painted container hidden at ground level. Please ensure the lid is tightly secured or else it will leak. Stealth may be required as people and dogs can appear from all directions.
