Geocache Description:

This cache is the second in the series based on the Biblical account of the three Wise Men who came from a fire (um ... I mean "a far") to see the baby Jesus.   Non-canonical writings give the names of the kings as Melchior (King of Persian), Caspar (King of India) and Balthazar (King of Arabia).     You will need to find all three kings to find the final, Star of the East (http://coord.info/GC4XEDK).

According to the Christian tradition, three wise men from the East visited the Christ child sometime after his birth on Christmas day to worship Him.   In the Bible, Matthew’s gospel (Chapter 2) is the only account we have.   After seeing the Baby Jesus’ star, these three wise men took off to find Him.   Although often depicted as visiting the newborn King at the stable along with the shepherds, Matthew states that they found Jesus in a house with only his mother being mentioned.   It is assumed that it might have taken up to two years for the three kings from afar to make the trip to Bethlehem.   The Feast of Epiphany is normally celebrated on January 6th each year as the traditional date when the Magi visited Jesus.

In order to find the final cache of this series, you will need to find all three individual kings.   The three will be put out on random days between today the Epiphany.   On each cache there will be a number that you will need collect to find the final cache, which will hopefully be published on or about January 6th, 2014.   BYOP as a you are looking for a small nano.  Cache is available 24/7. Permission for this cache granted by City of Union.

Happy Hunting!
