Tanks for the cache (Upper Hutt) Traditional Cache

Up in the back blocks of Stokes Valley sits a collection of used and disused water tanks placed by the local council.

Where this particular cache is sited, there are four small water reservoirs to feed the thirsty people in the valley. There is another one nearby if you can spot it.

This cache is located just off the track down the path from the four tanks. It is 500 ml screw-top container hidden using natural cover. Please be careful to replace the cache under its coverings in its original location otherwise curious muggles may remove it.

When placed the cache contained a pen, log book, one TB and some items for swapping.

To get to the cache, park at the top of Kingsley St and follow the gravel trails 500m down to the tanks. From here the cache is 60 m further down the track near a track junction.
