The Church
St. Brigid's Church of Ireland, more commonly known as Kilbride Church, is located at the end of Herbert Road in Bray, and faces out on to the N11. The church was designed by William Barre in 1857. There is also a small cemetery located at the back of the church.
The Cache
The cache is a micro placed outside the church grounds. You do not need to enter the church grounds to retrieve the cache. In fact, you don't even need to cross the road to the church to find it. If you do decide to have a look around the church grounds (if the gate is open), please be extremely careful crossing the road, as this corner leads on to the N11.
The cache is not accessible by bus (there is no footpath from the nearest bus stop to GZ). You will need to park at the parking waypoint provided on Dargle Lane, and walk less than 200m along the footpath to GZ.
I want to place my own Church Micro cache...
The Church Micro IE series is open to everyone; if you have a church you would like to place a cache at then please contact THE_Chris through Geocaching.com. This is to keep track of the numbers of the churches and give you the general format for the cache page. In the UK there are thousands in the series so we have some catching up to do! Also, if you currently have a published cache at a church that you would like to include in the series, get in contact and we can add it.
*Congrats to theswerve for FTF!!*
