Geocache Description:

This cache is inside the Big Bear cemetery..."Gold Mountain Memorial Park".

I do not know if the cemetery ever closes or the hours if they do but it is always open when I come here. They allow a lot of items to be set at the sites and it is a small but very quaint cemetery.

This cache is in honor of my dad, "Treasure Den". He was a brilliant and smart man and he made a lot of creative caches.

He passed away in November of 2012. The cache that is placed here was one of the caches that he made and gave to me some time back. I remember him always asking me if I had placed it yet and I would tell him that I want to find the most perfect spot. Well, I found the perfect spot, I just didn't know it would be here.

Him and my mom "Nate's Grandma" got me into caching in 2005 and we cached all over this mountain. Great times!
