Geocache Description:

We three king of Orient are, bearing gifts you've traveled so far.

Balthazar was one of the three kings. The 2 other Magi are named Gaspar and Melchior. According to the story, the Magi brought baby Jesus gold, frankincense & myrrh. But the treasure in this Travel Bug Hotel is another kind. This is a geocache for trackables. Yay!!!!

This is a tricky geocache inspired by a 6 year old, who likes simple machines. It is kid friendly and hopefully a bit of fun. The three kings had to stop many times during "The 12 days of Christmas" that it took them to reach the baby Jesus, from Dec 25th to Jan 6th. So this Travel Bug Hotel is dedicated to that journey. Let your travelers rest here on their journeys, and keep the current occupants moving. Please try to place trackable travelers in this geocache.

Balthazar Travel Bug Hotel is located just off of an easy trail. There is minimal bushwhacking for this Magi. Look for cool caves in the area as there are plenty to be found. It is a really nice little hike with a couple of different trails. There are even a few other geocaches in the area. Please CITO if you happen to notice anything lying around. Enjoy!
Parking and entrance to preserve: At the cul-de sac at Emily Cove turn right and walk along the right side of the house at 2410 Emily Cove. It is a dirt path to the gate. Within this preserve is a private home with a fence around it. Don't go through the barbed wire fence onto private property, go around. There are marked paths throughout this area. Stay on the path until almost at the cache. Minimal bushwhacking.
