Are You Experienced Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Aye-yo: I am very surprised that Portland accepted new geocaching guidelines that allows very few geocaches in this huge public park with over 600 acres and many trails. Recently bicyclists protested at several Portland parks. As a result, bicyclists will likely have many of their Portland policy restrictions removed permanently. Obviously, bicyclists have very strong support in Portland while the geocaching community seems to be fading away...

This is a great park to hike along and find some caches. Soon many of the caches here will be archived because the Portland P&R chose to recently enhance restrictions for geocaching while promoting the usage of trails for bicyclists, horses and dogs. Spent many hours putting these caches in place for the entire geocaching community and now they are but a memory. Sad but true...

Geocache Description:

We truly hope your experience is...not necessarily stoned but beautiful. Because along the way you will see much beauty. You may find it difficult finding the many small trails that go by this cache location. I hope you are prepared for the task at hand and that you do not get lost along the way. The small trails will be somewhat along a ridge. You may even go past a homeless tent like we did but that may not be the shortest way. There will be ferns everywhere, even some growing on trees. There will likely be some stinging nettles nearby in the summer and fall. When you find the cache then we will know...you are experienced. You must sign the log or we may likely delete your claim to have gotten the experience necessary at this location. Please replaced the cache to the same exact location with some camo cover. Congrats to gjhimages and Wesser 26 for the shared FTF. Enjoy the hike.
