An impressive butt for you to check out.
An old gum tree which has a large butt of 11.0 metres circumference. I'm sure that this tree has witnessed a lot of history. There a fair bit of reinforcing to keep this old fella sound I guess. There are thousands of other big butts out there, if you find another impressive one maybe you could do the measurement and place a cache of your own. You will be doing well to beat this old specimen. There is actually another huge butt of another eucalypt about 140 m north of this one. It has been cut down to ground level so it is difficult to measure it. Part of it is buried and the other side forms the bank of the creek. It is well worth checking out. PLEASE USE SOME OF THE NATURAL CAMO TO KEEP THE CACHE OUT OF SIGHT FROM PRYING EYES..I've replaced old container with a new one .IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND ILL REPAIR.
