Geocache Description:

A run of caches marking a section of footpath of the old Stamford to Essendine Railway line. Inspired by the Geocache "WhistleStop" by AgentOZZ, please check out the photo's in that, to see how much things have changed. This walk will take you along the disused line. Please be careful, as will be slippery when wet, and GPS may be affected by tree cover.

#1, This is located near to the old Blackstones site, where the train may have made stops. This is the remains of an old bridge near by, on the footpath. The bridge may be gone, but the remains of the supporting pillars are still standing. Be careful on the uneven ground while looking.
