Castles Made of Sand Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Aye-yo: I am very surprised that Portland accepted new geocaching guidelines that allows very few geocaches in this huge public park with over 600 acres and many trails. Recently bicyclists protested at several Portland parks. As a result, bicyclists will likely have many of their Portland policy restrictions removed permanently. Obviously, bicyclists have very strong support in Portland while the geocaching community seems to be fading away...

This is a great park to hike along and find some caches. Soon many of the caches here will be archived because the Portland P&R chose to recently enhance restrictions for geocaching while promoting the usage of trails for bicyclists, horses and dogs. Spent many hours putting these caches in place for the entire geocaching community and now they are but a memory. Sad but true...

Geocache Description:

You will arrive to a major intersection of 4 different trails. Odd thing about this place is that I don't recall any signs here. So, why not have a seat and check your GPS which should tell you to go west. There is likely muggles all around so please use stealth here. Please return the cache to the same hint location out of plain view and on a solid branch. Enjoy the hike and the views along the way. Congrats to Lord Devout and Treewee71 for shared FTF.

Note: BYOP, carefully open the container/baggie, sign the log, completely seal baggie with log inside, tightly close container and replace cache out of plain view to same location in description/hint.
