Geocache Description:

LET'S TIP OUR HATS TO THE NEW YEAR!

January 22nd at 6:00 pm

As we welcome 2014, let's meet up with our caching friends, old and new! We want you to wear a hat, and come ready to share your best geocaching tip!

WEAR YOUR MOST OUTRAGEOUS HAT!

We'll each pin our best tips on our hat (Get it? It's a tip o' the hat!). Then we'll visit with our fellow cachers to share tips on how we can keep caching in the Savannah area FANTASTIC!

What tip can you share about placing or finding caches?

What do you know about caching now that you didn't know when you first started?

What's the best advice you can give to someone just starting our fun game?

Each attendee will receive a ticket for a drawing for a Limited Edition Trackable Geo-Coin (unactivated) that I picked up during my travels!

This meet-and-greet will be a great time to visit with your fellow area cachers to get to know the geocachers in our community and have a good time fellowshipping with each other and put faces with the names you keep seeing in the logs!

Who:

All geocachers are invited to come eat and meet with other local geocachers, regardless of where you live or how much geocaching experience you have. There is no membership and you aren't required to purchase food or beverage from the restaurant.

When:

Wednesday, January 22, 2013
 6:00 PM - ?:?? PM

 Where:

DQ GRILL & CHILL RESTAURANT

7100 HODGSON MEMORIAL DR

SAVANNAH, GA 31406

912-335-2420

Extra things to keep in mind:

If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).

There will be A LOT of TB’s for discovery or travel this month!  A lot of us have been traveling over the holidays and brought many TB’s back with us!
