A simple cache which can be collected on the way up or way down from Woodcock Air. Woodcock Air is a small hill standing at 129m above sea level with views across Annandale and The Solway. The walk to the summit is through woods and can be very muddy. The excursion takes less than an hour and makes a suitable walk for children.
When I placed the cache in 2014, there was a pleasant viewpoint here along with a bench and information board. There has since been extensive forestry work adjacent to the cache, the board and bench have gone and most importantly, the view has disappeared due to tree growth. The cache name is misleading, but I'll leave it temporarily as I hope to add to the series to make a nice circular.

The cache is placed near an information board which gives details of St Kentigern's Churchyard which can be seen across the River Annan to the north.
Follow one of the waymarked paths (red, blue or green routes) from the car park at Hoddom Brig to get to the cache.
The cache is a small tupperware box located about 10 m from the benches and information board.
