Geocache Description:

Fairly stiff walk in to the woods, perhaps more suited to seasoned walkers, boots a must, leaving you to decide your own route hence the difficulty. Not for night caching.

The cache can be approached from the North,  approx. 1.7 miles on decent tracks except for the last couple of hundred metres which can be very muddy,/strong>,  , also there will be very muddy areas at final, .

Either way you should arrive at a strange little building, despite a lot of research including talking to foresters who worked here in the 70s I have been unable to find it's original use, nor does it appear on any old maps.

Made of nicely dressed stone it oddly has a concrete slab curved roof, also has two nicely arched windows and a flu, so was heated at one time.

Well worth having a look at a map and satellite view before you go, although there are felled areas not shown on satellite yet.
