This is a magnetic eclipse container covered in black tape. Please bring your own pen.

Please don't put in anything that could be damaged by water. PLEASE TAKE CARE ON THE LADDER.

The Mataura is renowned as a source of brown trout, and is a popular fishing venue. 

Before or after going for this cache please walk partway along the bridge and look upstream towards the former papermill to see a very unusal rock waterfall.
