"The 2013 Geminid meteor shower put on a bright show during its peak on Friday night into the wee hours of Saturday morning. Before the shower, some experts predicted that people in dark areas could see as many as 90 to 120 meteors per hour during the display's peak." NBC News 17th December 2013.
