Geocache Description:

Goorambat's victory park.

Opened in 1949 was the Victory Park Memorial. This monument was erected to pay tribute to those who lost their life during world war 2. Six name plates were originally placed on trees within the park but are now on a memorial stone.

The building beside the Memorial Park is the Community Hall which houses the tribute to The Queen on her Victorian Tour in 1954.

This cache is of reasonable size. This cache is NO LONGER magnetised, however still sits in its original position
