Geocache Description:

Easy park n' cache in all weather. During the winter the hill is covered in ice so the terrain is higher in the winter.

This land is part of the Pergola Commons Which at one point in time was known as the Pergola Drive In. The Pergola Drive In operated from 1966 untill it was sold and demolished in 2007. As a child this was my first introduction to the world of mini golf and golf for that matter. I always loved coming here as a kid and I'm truley sad that this childhood memory is nothing more than a memory now. So I have decided to bring a little bit of my past back with this cache series. I am hoping to get at least nine holes so watch for more in the future. The cache container is a small former pill container with a little climb in order to make the find.

Also I have decided that I should let people know that this cache is able to be accessed in the winter but may not be considered by some as winter friendly. The icon as I understand it means that the geocache will remain in place through the winter not that it is easy to find in the winter. If anything the winter adds to the search which adds to the adventure.

Congratulations Geoff&Kadi for there FTF.
