Geocache Description:

A long distance cycle route connecting Dover and the Shetland Islands mainly via the east coast of England and Scotland which doubles as the North Sea Cycle Route.

This section runs between Dalkeith and Whitecraig.

The cache is close to the new A68 - Dalkeith bypass completed in September 2008 dirverting 1.35 million cars and 180,000 commercial vehicles out of the centre of Dalkeith each year.

This path is not only popular with cyclist but also muggles walking duggles so stealth may need to be used.

DO NOT try to access this cache from the A68.
