Summary: Bond's classic gun, a German-made 7.65mm is introduced in Dr. No. It replaced the .25 caliber, which was unreliable in tight situations. The 7.65mm caliber with a 7 round magazine is semi automatic with a traditional single/double action trigger mechanism . It's most desirable feature is it's size, as it is perfect for concealment. This makes it one of the favorite pistols in secret services around the world.
