Geocache Description:

Here is my 28th Church Micro. You are looking for a magnetic vial. Please note: there is a clear container cable-tied to the post lower down than the cache - this is an air quality monitor and not the geocache.

For those not in the know The Church Mirco Series is intended to be as big a cache size as you can muster, Steve (sadexploration) explains.

The series is called ‘Church Micro’ I encourage cachers to hide as large a cache as it's possible to. It’s just that Church 2.5 Lt clip box’ didn’t quite roll off the tongue as well.

So on to the church description.

Radstock Baptist Church, situated on Wells Hill, was founded in 1844.

Not much to be found about the building, an extract of the 1902 Coronation programme "During the last two years great activity has prevailed in all departments of the Church's Work, and as the result, further extensions and improvements have been carried out. New Sunday School premises have been added, at a cost of over £600, while the Chapel has been enlarged by the addition of a gallery. The whole of the seating accommodation has been re-arranged, -Rostrum, Reredos, Baptistry, and the new Choir Stalls have been introduced, and the whole interior of the Sanctuary has been so completely renovated, re-arranged, and beautified," The stone exterior with corner coins, window and door surrounds, with the grand steps are fine examples of this type of chapel. The foundation stone with date is also of note.
