Geocache Description:

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water there's more!

Casuarina Coastal Reserve

Please bring your own pen or pencil

Darwin's first Power Trail!

The Casuarina Coastal Reserve

This Reserve protects about 1500ha of coastal habitats between the estuaries of Rapid Creek and Buffalo Creek, in the Darwin area. It includes 8 km of sandy beaches, dramatic cliffs and shady casuarina trees. Behind the dunes lie typical Top End coastal plant communities including patches of woodlands, monsoon forests, mangroves and paperbarks.

This cache will take you to a great ocean view, don't worry about the sharks, the crocs ate them all!

But seriously, if your thinking of swimming, please heed the warning signs about Crocodile and Box Jelly Fish

Hopefully this cache will appear on a lot of cachers statistics as there their "furtherest North!"
