Kozan Temple is one of the temple to symbolize the castle town “Chofu”. Buddhist sanctum has been designated a national treasure. There are grave statue of Takasugi Shinsaku, Chofu Mori family tomb, and the tomb of Ouchi Yoshinaga.Autumn leaves are especially beautiful, delight the eye of many tourists. 功山寺は城下町長府を象徴する寺のうちのひとつです。仏殿は鎌倉時代の禅宗様建築を代表するもので、国宝に指定されています。境内には高杉晋作の像、長府毛利家墓所、大内義長の墓などがあります。とくに紅葉が美しく、多くの観光客の目を楽しませてくれます。紅葉の時期に訪れてください。
