Heyward Point or Aramoana? (Otago) Traditional Cache

This is a small 200ml snaplock container at ground level. Please ensure you place everything back as you found it so it doesn't blow away.

Please bring your own pen (just in case).

From the cache you have a lovely view of the harbour mouth.

Please note that the terrain rating is based on you coming from Hwywards Point Road to reach this cache, if you take the track from Aramoana (immediately on the left as you enter the 30kmpH zone) then add another star to the terrain rating.

NOTE: The tracks to the cache go through fields filled with sheep and therefore are likely to be closed for lambing from 1 August to 31 October each year. This cache is unavailable during that time. WARNING: There are UNPROTECTED CLIFFS, ensure that children are kept safe.
