Geocache Description:

Here's an event actually hoping for snow!!!

Where: Ansonia Nature Center Trail Map

When: Sunday February 16th at 10:00 am

Who: Geocachers who enjoy playing in the snow!

The main event will include the typical cacher chat and TB exchange. To make this a true SNOW event there will also be areas for snow angel and snowman making and maybe even a friendly snowball fight! We'll supply everything you need including donut holes and hot beverages! Just be sure to dress appropriately so you can fully enjoy yourself.

There are several trails within the nature center perfect for snow-related activities. These trails link up to the Naugatuck State Forest - Ansonia Reservoir trails for even more fun! So dust off your crampons, polish up your snowshoes and wax your cross country skis for some fun after the event.

Many caches are hidden here already and maybe there will even be a new series for you to find before or after the event!

PLEASE NOTE - We will be at the parking area closest to Redwing Pond. Please follow posted signs and be respectful of nearby private property. Parking may be limited so carpooling from the main parking lot near the Visitor Center would be helpful.

What's that? Did you ask "What will we do if there's no snow on the day of the event?" I'm sure we can still find a way to have fun even if there isn't any snow silly!
