Geocache Description:

Audubon Park, is a passive recreational facility featuring nature trails and interpretive venues.  As well as being a recreational amenity for the city of Deltona, the property is also used for stormwater management and natural resource preservation purposes.

The map may show you a road to this cache... but it is no longer there.   Take Lush Lane off of Doyle to the park entrance.  The park is only open during daylight hours.

This is a lovely park... and a birder's heaven!!!
The day I placed it there were MANY birds back on the lake enjoying the sunshine and the peace of the area which is very close to homes and businesses. As I walked the boardwalk trail the neighbor's cows and goats said hello! The small cow with the cowbell was especially friendly today!

You can either take the trail around to the cache (longer route) or take the boardwalk... it's a big circle so take time to enjoy it all!
Find the sign to identify the birds and turn around. Look for the two pretty, smallish trees right at the edge of the tree line. Go get the cache! It's "Powered by Birds!" :)

This website will give you information about the park.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Caching!

What a treat to meet two other geocachers when I went to the park to place the caches, today!!! Grubbsterscott and Kathy44... it was a pleasure to get to meet you! Hope you'll bring the kids back to the park to find these caches!

First to Find: Survivor Sean! Congratulations!!!
