Geocache Description:

Audubon Park, is a passive recreational facility featuring nature trails and interpretive venues.  As well as being a recreational amenity for the city of Deltona, the property is also used for stormwater management and natural resource preservation purposes.

Take Lush Lane off of Doyle Rd. to the Audubon Park entrance. The park is only open during daylight hours.

This is a lovely park... and a birder's heaven!!!
The day I placed it there were MANY birds back on the lake enjoying the sunshine and the peace of the area which is very close to homes and businesses. As I walked the boardwalk trail the neighbor's cows and goats said hello! The small cow with the cowbell was especially friendly today!

The trail is a circle... be sure to walk the whole thing...  and get the cache in the back of the park, too!  it's a great walk!

The cache... a small snap-lock container, is under the boardwalk on the trail side.  Not on the ground.
There is some swag for the kids! Have fun!!!
This website will give you information about the park.

What a treat to meet two other geocachers when I went to the park to place the caches, today!!! Grubbsterscott and Kathy44... it was a pleasure to get to meet you! Hope you'll bring the kids back to the park to find these caches!

Thanks for visiting and Happy Caching!

Congratulations FTF: Jackie and Bob!
