The Trefforest Trekker
A journey which takes you through a pleasant 3 mile walk over the hills above Trefforest, over to Church Village, Tonteg and back. Expect some great views across the valleys as you endeavor to tackle a selection of interesting Geocaches!
The Series:
Terrain varies from concrete roads, sometimes muddy country paths, fields and pavements. There are some steep hills along the way. Please see Difficulty/Terrain ratings for each cache. If you are doing the whole series the trek should take around 1 to 2 hours to complete depending on your pace.
All these caches can be done as standalone or in order. We suggest you start at number 1 but it's up to you. We hope you enjoy the trail!

Cache is a modified micro. There is no pen/cil in this cache please bring your own.
Location:
Just on the outskirts of Church Village you'll find this Geocache location. It's a pretty straight forward one. Find the grit box and you're almost there. Location is along the road so please be careful of traffic especially with children and especially because the lower road where this one leads to is quite a lot busier.
Directions:
Approaching anticlockwise: Follow the road down from 'Telegraph Pole'
Approaching clockwise: Follow the footpath between the houses and then along the road. Be careful when approaching the cache for traffic. Renamed from 'True Grit'
