In summer you will need a watercraft. In winter you can walk the river ice.
The land on the east side and west side of the river is private property. a very small strip of land (a small island 30 feet wide)on the west side is part of the river. Next to that island is private property, about 50 feet away.
Under Minnesota law property rights extend to the waters edge, not the ordinary high water mark.
To the south of this hide 100 yards on the east side you will see an Indian burial mound.
