4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This cache continues the series from HBT Under the Bridge. Please bring a pen and your geo senses for finding the series.

Welcome to the second phase of the HBT series. The Hobart Bike Track runs from the Cenotaph near the CBD of Hobart and extends north to the Northern Suburbs. Phase 1 begins near the cenotaph and works it's way down to Tasman Bridge. Phase 2 picks up from here and extends to Cornelian Bay, with the ultimate  aim of caches along the whole bike track. The track is multi use for both pedestrians and cyclists and reaches for about 16km. Most of the caches are on the edge of the track, or a short step or two off the track. Difficulty ratings will be higher than the normal due to a high presence of muggles. Please put the cache back as you found it and make sure it is hidden well, pens will be required!
