De reeks BB4 – WO1 – … neemt jullie mee naar het Brugge tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog.
Aan de hand van foto's krijgen jullie een beeld van de verwoesting. De opgegeven coördinaten plaatsen jullie op de (vermoedelijke) plaats waar de foto werd genomen. Het biedt jullie eveneens de mogelijkheid om de foto's te vergelijken met het heden.

BELUIK DER GEFUSILLEERDEN
Tijdens de 'Grooten Oorlog' werden 15 personen door het Duitse 'Feldgericht' (krijgsraad) in Brugge ter dood veroordeeld.
Doodstraf werd door de Duitse bezetter uitgesproken bij vermeende actieve hulp aan de tegenstander. De terechtstelling van de 13 ongelukkigen diende steeds te gebeuren bij aanwezigheid van 2 getuigen die lid waren van het stadsbestuur.
