Gowerton once held the distinction of being the only village in the UK with 2 stations - Gowerton North, (which still exists as "Gowerton") and Gowerton South.
The site of the Gowerton South Station is known in Gowerton as "The Dip" The station is long since gone, although you can still see some brickwork that belonged to the station here. This is where people used to catch a train from Gowerton through Clyne Valley to Blackpill (now a footpath).
The cache is located towards the top end of the "The Dip". Might be a bit muddy after rain. No need to climb the bank. Wheelchair accessible except for the last few feet.
