Geocache Description:

Cache is located just off of university property.  Exercise stealth as this location falls victim to vandalization more recently was set ablaze by some trespassers.  Container is a larger micro with room for small trade items and log.  Prize for FTF.

Salem International University (once known as Salem Teikyo University and Salem College) has a long standing history in Salem.  The University was founded in 1888 by the Seventh Day Baptist.  There are many buidlings belonging to the universtity strung acrossed the city of Salem.  This being one of them.  These buildings were once known as the "Cubes" and where once used as Dorms/Fraternities up until the early 2000's.  But these, along with many others, were eventually closed and abandoned.  This is an interesting location just beyond the husle and bustle of the campus nearby.

Congratulations to arealwhit on their FTF
