Point Cook Coastal Park is situated half an hours drive from Melbourne CBD. This is a lovely place for a picnic as it has BBQ facilities, playgrounds, toilets and is located a short walk to the beach. It's a part of the Point Cook Coastal Park that isn't visited as frequently but is just as good to see.
Note: Carpark opens at 8:30am all year round but closes at:
- April to October: 5:00pm
- November, February and March: 6:00pm
- December and January: 7:00pm
Cache is located towards the south-east end of the beach and is not far off the path.
The cache contains an assortment of swaps.
Unofficial FTF honours go to half of team Talikarng who was tricked into thinking that this was a real cache. Inside the cache she found the FTF prize - her engagement ring.
