The new Leigh Wander series consists of 45 caches and is around 7.5 miles. All but a couple of the caches are placed very close to the paths and shouldn’t be too hard to find. Most are straight forward traditional micros but there are half a dozen that are a bit different and a couple that need a bit of work to get your name in the logbook.
The trail will take you mainly on footpaths and bridleways lots of styles and gates and with two short road sections, the roads a pretty quite most of the time but care should still be taken. Some of the fields you pass through may have live stock in them, mainly sheep but sometimes cows as well so dogs are welcome but will need to be on a lead where appropriate.
All the caches have log books but no pens so bring your own. Plenty of parking along side St Bartholomew’s Church ( Better known as Church Micro 3 ) and there is a pub very close by too.
