Burke Cemetery, established in 1867 (and still active today)...
When we originally published this cache, we had thought about naming it "Uphill, Both Ways!" because back then, there was no easy way to get here - but that's all changed now! This area has seen a major amount of redevelopment, yet this historical cemetery remains in place!
The coordinates above will take you to the entrance to this cemetery where you'll find an informational marker that was placed in 1984. The first year that is listed in the text on the marker.. is your key to the next/final stage of this geocache. For example, if the year on the marker was 1932, 'A' would be 1, 'B' would be 9, 'C' would be 3, and 'D' would be 2.
