Geocache Description:

3rd Annual Presidential Hike

This event is for anyone lucky enough to have President's Day off!!

It is open everyone regardless of which political party you claim or who you think should be president.



We knew we wanted keep this going as an annual hiking event for President's Day. This year we have decided to host it across the border in a little state known as Idaho. If we are lucky, we might even get to see a Bald Eagle if they are still around.

We will meet near the trailhead/parking area to Mineral Ridge Scenic Area and National Recreation Trail on Coeur d'Alene Lake. We will do a Meet & Greet in the parking area. Then for those who would like to cache we will go and hopefully find, weather permitting, the caches located along the established trails. What better way to spend an extra day off than to go caching in the woods with friends?

TIME: 12:00 p.m. (Noon)

WHERE: Mineral Ridge Scenic Area and National Recreation Trail
