Geocache Description:

I'm A King Bee

UPDATE: May 24, 2021. I repaired the container. To open it just pull down and then swing it open. NO FORCE IS NECESSARY! To close swing it shut and slide it up. Please use stealth!

A park and grab at a popular 24-hour restaurant where another sort of King reigns. Muggles could be a problem at any time of the day or night. Extreme stealth could be required, and you may have to time the traffic signal. The container is a little tricky to get open, so be patient and persistant. Please be sure to close it completely.

Terrain is level, but there is a step up that would make it difficult to maneuver a wheel chair up to the cache.

Please make sure the container is completely closed and latched. You have to slide the door upwards and then latch it. Otherwise it will not stay closed.

Original contents: Tumbling Dice travel bug, United Arab Emirates coin, several wheat straw pennies, Get Out of Hell Free cards, plastic eyeball, plastic cockroach, and several other items.

The Rolling Stones recorded a cover of  Slim Harpo's 1957 song, "I'm a King Bee" on their 1964 release, "England's Newest Hitmakers." It was on the U.S. charts for 35 weeks, going gold and reaching # 11.
