Enter the Manhan Sanctuary from Brickyard Road Extension and follow the trail that runs parallel to the river! You'll soon find a peculiar GZ, so if your GPS tells you to head downhill or into the river, don't trust it! Stay on the higher ground! If you approach this cache from the northern section via East Street, do not cross the bridge over the Manhan River if it is broken! Please BYOP and potentially tweezers!
Legend of the Sanctuary Series #2: After hearing the words of a messenger bird, it's time to find this "Parsons" character! Peeking around, a decent hideout has been located! ...woah! Talk about a creepy crawling monster! You reach for something to kill the darn thing, but a roar freezes you in your tracks.
"Wait! Spare me! The lies you hear are not full of truth! Listen, I have no intent on unveiling some evil mastermind plot, that is not my intent. You're looking for Manhan! He used to protect these woods; he was a revered guardian. A dozen feet tall, he was. Yet, he started to act extremely peculiar, so I went to meet with him in a conference. My life was nearly ended, for Manhan had acquired some sort of power... perhaps a passion for blood. I fell him in one toxic swoop and fled, knowing that no one else would know the truth. I fear that he has been reborn as a demon and that something powerful is going to happen. His dead carcass remains in the form of a tree on the other side of the river, but he lives on!"
Parsons seems honest, but these contrasting tales provide a great sense of discomfort. Perhaps Manhan left something behind to prove either story. The river rages so much that the bridge is often out; it's best to relocate to the northern entrance to the forest and track him down.
